Most popular classes run on this night are the Stock Short Course, 1/10th Super Stock (13.5) Truck, 1/10th Stock (17.5) Buggy, and the 1/8th Electric Buggy. We ofter run a novice class on Wednesday nights, so if your kids would like to participate in racing this can be a fun night for them.

Thursday nights are nitro practice nights. Any form of nitro powered RC can be run on the track during practice. If you also own an electric RC and do not mind the nitro fumes you are welcome to run your electric RC's on the track at this time also.

Friday nights are reserved for electric only practice. Any form of electric RC may be ran on the track. Practice nights are a great time for anyone who has never ran their RC on a track before to come down and try their hand at it. We are happy to help children learn the hobby. This is the perfect night to do just that. Stop by, we have several RC's we can let you run on the track for FREE. This offer is limited to people who do not own an RC and are interested in joining the hobby.

On Saturday morning we will be hosting an Electric Practice in the morning starting at 10:00AM.

Every Saturday night starting at 6:00PM is Electric racing open to all electric RC's. Same details as Wednesday nights.

Virus Racing League 2010 (VRL)

Well the weather seems to be warming up a bit, so I guess its time to start to think and talk about outdoor racing and the 2010 season! As many of you have heard, we will be starting a new racing series in the West Michigan area in 2010, the VRL, Virus Racing League. We will use local tracks to help support the RC racing community in our own home towns.

We ask that anyone who plans on racing in this series, please pre-register for each event. You can register for the first event, on April 24 at Proving Grounds by clicking here:

Virus Racing Points Series Standings after race #3

Virus Racing Points Series Standings after race #3 are now sorted out. Keep in mind that this was a best 3 of 4 events for the points. Your lowest points total or if you missed a race, could be dropped and you would use the remaining 3 best finishes for the points standings. So when I calculated this most recent points listing, anyone who has missed more than 1 race was dropped off the list. The only people remaining on these points standings are those who are still in the points races. I did this because we have had so many people run a single event, the lists would have been huge and would have made it hard to find where your standings were. So here they are, the points standings after round #3 of the points race!

Stock Short Course

Stock 2wd Buggy

New Track Layout 02-28-10

Once again it is time for a change. Our crew of track designers, builders, and a few racers came out and put a new layout in place on the track. Thanks to all of those that came out and helped, we are getting those changes made in hours now, not days!

Watts going on with LiPo's?

Watts going on with LiPos (and for that matter, Ambitious, but Rubbish)?

When I named this “Ambitious, but rubbish” I thought it was appropriate, but on second thought maybe it should be “Ambitious, but rubbish, with long droughts of silence”; honestly it was never my intention to go so long in-between pointless ponderings and over thinking of R/C cars.
